This year’s Manheim Township fall sports season wrapped up on Saturday, Nov. 15, capping months of dedication and accomplishments. In total, Township teams won seven section championships, three league titles, four District Three championships and had eight advance as state qualifiers.
Boys soccer marked the end of their season with a final record of 13-8-2. The team finished as section runner-up and league runner-up. They also placed fourth in district playoffs, qualifying for states.
Girls soccer closed out their season with an overall record of 21-3. They were named section champs, league champs, district champs and state qualifiers.
The boys cross country team went undefeated with a league record of 7-0. The team earned section champs, league runner-up and district champs. At the PIAA state meet, they placed ninth.
The girls cross country team was also undefeated with a league record of 7-0. They wrapped up their season as section champs, league champs and district champs. They finished in sixth place at the PIAA state meet.

Field hockey rounded out their season with a final record of 12-9-2. They were section champs and league runner up. They placed fifth in district playoffs and qualified for states.
The football team’s record was 10-2. They were section champs and seeded third in districts. They beat Hempfield 49-7 in district quarterfinals, but ultimately concluded their season after losing to Harrisburg in district semifinals.

Boys golf capped off their season with an overall record of 27-3. The team finished as section champs and league runner up. Junior Joe Bilson qualified for states.
Girls golf brought their season to a close with a final record of 25-6. They represented the LL League at districts and placed third.
Girls volleyball concluded their season with an overall record of 20-5. The team finished as section champs and league runner up. They also qualified for states after placing fourth in district playoffs.

Girls tennis finished with a nearly undefeated season with a record of 20-1. Their titles included section champs, league champs, district champs and state qualifier. Senior Haley Miller placed second in district singles, making her a contender for states. Freshman Abby Martin and Senior Maya Lamichane placed second in district doubles, also qualifying for states.
