On Monday, April 27, the Manheim Township Marching Band had their 2026 show theme reveal. This year’s theme is titled, “Soaring,” featuring musical selections including “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters, “Soaring the Heights” by Christopher Bond, “Turbine” by John Mackey and “Little Wing” by Jimi Hendrix. The show is centered around the idea of flying and the feeling of wind beneath your wings. Featuring multiple solos and other ensemble opportunities, many members of the band are confident that this year’s show is going to be as memorable as those from years past.
