On Monday, April 13, the Manheim Township track team faced Cedar Crest. Cedar Crest defeated Township 110-40 for the boys team, and defeated the girls team 90-60.
Senior Joshua Henshaw placed first in the 3200 meters. Senior Jake Ruch placed first in shot put. The Township boys team’s season record is now 1-2-0.
Senior Kaila Atteberry placed first in the 1600 meters. Senior Georgia Ealy placed first in the 3200 meters. Sophomore Alexandra Nachtigall placed first in the high hurdles. Junior Emerson Hardy placed first in the pole vault. The Township girls team’s second record is now 0-3-0.
Ephrata will host the Blue Streaks on Monday, April 27.
