On Wednesday, April 22, the Manheim Township softball team faced Warwick with a final score of 10-9 Warwick. Warwick is undefeated in the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 with a 7-0 conference season record. Township’s conference record is 3-4.
The standout pitcher of the night was sophomore Violet Wager who threw three strikeouts in one inning. Junior Bella Stern hit a two run double, senior Katie Moore had two RBI singles and senior Paige Hughes added a single to tie the game.
Township played their next game on Thursday, April 23, against South Western that ended in a 7-5 loss.
McCaskey will host Township on Monday, April 27 at 4:15 p.m.
