On Friday, Jan. 5, Black Student Union is hosting an all-day fundraiser in collaboration with Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie. 

Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie is located at 201 W. Walnut St. in Lancaster. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the club.  

“With the money from the fundraiser, we hope to get BSU up and running. We have a lot of things we want to do this year and this fundraiser will put us one step closer to accomplishing our goals,” said Abby Kimani, President of Black Student Union. 

Vice President Abby Bekele urges students to consider that an afternoon spent at Rachel’s will give them something to look forward to with their friends and family. 

“We hope the Rachel’s fundraiser will help everyone ease the stress of coming back to school after break,” she said.
