Liu presented Swift with her seventh award of the night. Liu presenting the award is significant since Swift had made a video introducing Liu and the other Blade Angels, Amber Glenn and Isabeau Levito, before their skates at the Olympics.
A fan favorite moment was when Liu called Swift the “GOAT of music.” During Swift’s speech she acknowledged what an honor it is to be receiving this award from Liu.
“I just want to say, first of all, to receive this award from Alysa, who brought me so much happiness,” Swift said, “And everyone else, so much happiness with your performances.”
The interaction between the two is loved because it was a wholesome moment between two people who are very inspired by each other.
It was a shared experience between the two women who will leave the 2026 IHeartRadio Music Awards remembered.
