There are many talented small group music ensembles at Manheim Township High School, Bella Voce being among them. Bella Voce is an all treble voices music ensemble consisting of 33 girls. The group is directed by Mrs. Haldeman. Rehearsals are once a week after school on Mondays from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.

The group recently sang in the MT Chamber Concert, along with performances from the Troubadours– another small vocal ensemble– and the Chamber Strings.

Singers say that Bella Voce is a challenging but fulfilling program.

“Bella Voce has really challenged me this year with learning ‘Ceremony of Carols,’” said freshman Olivia Kilby. “But it was really rewarding and I’ve had a lot of fun so far.”

“I love Bella Voce because it’s something fun to look forward to after a rough Monday,” said sophomore Eleanor Hintz. “I know that I can look forward to singing with my friends and making beautiful music.”

Bella Voce will be performing again in the spring. Catch the group at Landis Homes on May 15 and at the art show on May 16.
