After Chris and Morgan had their daughter, they decided it would be best to get married anyway. Morgan’s sister, Jenny, then has a child with Jonah, who Morgan had an unconfessed thing for since she was married to Chris. Jenny and Jonah’s baby is only a couple of months old at the start of the film.
