On Monday, April 13, the Township girls lacrosse team defeated Hempfield 16-9.
This game was played in honor of Lucian Li, a 2022 Township graduate who passed away in a car accident at the age of 19. Throughout his life both on and off the field, Li demonstrated kindness, had willingness to help others and had a passion for having fun.
Lexie Kauffman led the Blue Streak offense with six goals, while Regan Taylor added five goals and Toby Bergstrom scored four. Township (4-2 overall) has now won its last three games in a row.
The Blue Streaks will take on Penn Manor on Friday, April 17 at 4:15 p.m. for the annual Faculty All Star Recognition game at home.
