On Tuesday, Jan. 13, the Township boys wrestling team was defeated by Hempfield 39-28. Senior Brock Meglic, junior Max Kolbrener and junior Kolton Kemp won each of their matches with pins. Sophomore Frank Leanza won his match with a technical fall 16-1, and sophomore Brenden Fletcher won with another technical fall 20-4. The season record for the Blue Streaks is now 5-3.
The team’s next meet will be on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Exeter Township Senior High School at 8 a.m.
