“Both our divers and swimmers competed really hard and I think the final score definitely reflected the team’s hard work,” sophomore Lily Burge said.
Burge also talked about how, despite Township’s smaller team size, they fought hard.
“I think that even with a smaller team this year, we were really strong and just went out and tried our best. I think the atmosphere and energy of home meets definitely helps us and gets us all more excited,” she said.
Township lost to Wilson on Thursday, Dec. 18 by a score of 134-51. Their next meet will take place on Thursday, Jan. 8 at Cumberland Valley HS.
