On Oct. 3, “The Neighborhood,” a group of classes in the basement E-wing, appointed their annual Homecoming king and queen. This tradition occurs before the Homecoming dance each year and is a way to celebrate the students of Township. Out of all the students selected for the Neighborhood’s Homecoming court, one king and one queen will win. Anyone with a class in the Neighborhood has the opportunity to vote for their preferred winners.
This year, the Neighborhood’s Homecoming king was Luke Wagner and the queen was Mackenzie Wagner. The Wagner twins are seniors at Township.
“I’m really glad that my brother won as well,” said Mackenzie Wagner.
Wagner also said that she felt honored to have been chosen as the Neighborhood’s Homecoming queen, adding that it was a fun thing to happen during her senior year.
Congratulations to the Wagners and everyone who was chosen for the Neighborhood’s Homecoming court: Paige Fairbanks, James Black, Rhylee Givens, Auggie Eckert, Sidney Gumiran, Joel Francis, Alexa Kaufmann, Moussa Jamil, Emily Lai, Brody Ketner, Riley McGahren, Anderson Kopp, Gabby Muller Melo, Brock Meglic, Jaelynn Neidermeyer,s Iain O’Brien, Effie Papadimitriou, Shiven Patel, Julia Ramos, Nolan Peters, Regan Taylor, Samuel Tennison, Sophia Vo and Carson Topper.
