Township Top 10: A Bucket List For The Spring Season

As spring has rounded the corner, many are faced with the question: What can I do with my free time? In this school testing season little breaks are always refreshing. This bucket list provides ideas as to what you and your friends can do to enjoy the springtime.

Have a picnic.

Enjoy some time outdoors where you can relax and have some of your favorite foods.

Go on a bike ride.

With winter gone it is finally time to comfortably exercise outside. Ride with your friends and family to your favorite places around town, or even places you have never been. Explore Lancaster!

Find time to exercise.

With the warming weather, use the temperature to your advantage. Enjoy the wonderful outdoors while getting a quick workout in… you might even possibly get a tan.

Make a garden.

Ever wonder what your secret talent could be? Gardening? Use this sunny weather to get outside and try something new. Cultivate food and decorate your landscape.

Go berry picking.

Get some of the freshest fruit as it was just grown in the springtime weather.

Enjoy the farmers markets.

The farms in Lancaster are known for their great produce. Take advantage of it! Take some friends and explore all the stands in the area.

Go to a baseball game.

Baseball season has started. Do not miss the chance to see the Lancaster Stormers at Clipper Stadium this spring, and the many other games played in surrounding areas.

Do some spring cleaning.

Use this pleasant weather to get some motivation. Clean your room as it will help both you and your family.

Go to the Women’s US Open.

This year the US Women’s Golfing Open is held at the Lancaster Country Club, only a 15 minute drive from MT. Buy some tickets and take your friends and family to see the big event taking place May 30-June 2

Wash your car.

Get outside and clean your car. You could even make a business in the process.
