On Saturday, Oct. 12, Lititz held its 23rd annual Chocolate Walk. For $50, participants toured the shops in downtown Lititz with chocolate samples from bakers, chefs, candy makers and more. All of the ticket sales supported children-focused charities in the Lancaster County region.
Like previous years, it had the help of the Kiwanis Club of the Lititz Area and the Manheim Township High School Key Club. Kiwanis Clubs are local groups of volunteers who serve and work for children and Key Club is just one of the many clubs that are a part of Kiwanis International.
The MT Key Club members provided services such as distributing pamphlets, marking tickets and serving a variety of chocolate samples during this year’s chocolate walk. By volunteering in this popular event every year, Key Club members helped make the walk an enjoyable and smooth experience that will continue to raise funds for charities for many years to come.
