Mini-THON will host their second annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, which welcomes the Halloween spirit to the Township community.
Trunk or Treat is an early Halloween activity where people decorate their cars and distribute candy to support Mini-THON. Last year, this event raised $1,450 for the kids and this year, Mini-THON is striving to reach $2,000.
If you are not in Mini-THON but still want to support, there will be other clubs and sports in attendance. The Manheim Township Police Department and MTHS cafeteria staff are also participating to raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer.
How to get involved:
- To attend, donate $5.
- Let your friends and family know about the event.
- Decorate your car.
- Dress up.
- Hand out candy.
Even if you are unable to attend Trunk or Treat, there will be many opportunities throughout the year to support the cause. Mini-THON’s goal is to raise money for families so they do not have to worry about medical expenses. It also gives the Township community a chance to interact with different clubs, sports and the student body.
