On Thursday, Jan. 9, both MT girls and boys swimming and diving teams defeated Elizabethtown 132-52 and 105-75, respectively.
Some highlights included the first place finish of the girls 200 medley relay of Isabella Del Castillo, Mariel Keares, Adora Emuwa and Elaine Warfel, the first place finish of the girls 200 free relay of Delaney Connors, Elaine Warfel, Bella Del Castillo and Rowan Yingst, the first place finish of the girls 400 free relay of Connors, Davies, Stoyer and Emuwa, as well as the first place finish of the boys 200 free relay of Jack Commerce, Brayden Pott, Kent Sarsuelo and Cole Stevens.
Other first place finishes included Connors in the girls 200 free, Stevens in the boys 200 free, Cami Schwartz in the girls 200 IM, Pyott in the boys 200 IM, Emuwa in the girls 100 free, Stevens in the boys 500 free, Emerson Mandrell in the girls 200 backstroke, Keares in the girls 100 breaststroke and Pyott in the boys 100 breaststroke.
MT had even deeper success in the girls 100 butterfly with the 1-2 finishes of Schwartz and Del Castillo, as well as the 1-2-3 finish of Rain Davies, Sophia Panagopoulos and Jocelyn Parise in the 500 free.
