This past Friday, seven MT Alumni were inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
Established in the fall of 1995, the Athletic Hall of Fame has honored individuals with outstanding athletic achievements for the past 29 years. This year, the members’ achievements ranged from 1956 to 2013.
The inductees included Merrell Clark, the Boys Tennis state champion in 1956, Oren Knauer, the Boys Tennis state champion in 1957, Cindy Hess, a mixed doubles state champion in 1990; and Matt Baldwin, a 1997 state champion swimmer. Other inductees included Caroline Barry, a 2011 Girls Doubles Tennis state champion, Lauren Stauffer, a 2012 Girls Doubles Tennis state champion; and Tyler Karpinski, a 2013 Academic all American and three sport varsity captain.
