The MT varsity football team moved to 5-0 on the season with a 38-0 win over Hempfield on Friday, Sept. 20.
On offense, Township was led by senior quarterback Carson Weisser (270 yards, 2 TDs), running back Declan Clancy (128 yards, 1 TD) and wide receiver Lex Haberbosch (3-92-1). Defensively, Clancy led the way with 11 tackles and Daryus Dixon and Thomas Capizzi both pulled down interceptions. Clancy, Dehvyn Lauano and Julian LaRue added sacks for the Blue Streaks.
Township hosts J.P. McCaskey on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.
